ALLIED SUPERMAN CHAP 7
[Celestial Luck...]

They made it too the meeting point without issue, they had managed to lose the rest of the guards in the woods to the south. Although he was sure his new friend could have probably killed them all himself if they had caught up. They met up with the rest of the resistance members on this job including Isaac. “ What the hell is that?“ The stranger frowned and looked hurt. 

“Be nice to him, he saved my life.“ said Hugo straining to keep his voice down. 

“ He‘s covered in blood.“ said Issac still looking stunned. 

“ We can get him new cloths. We had a run in with the last of the guards to find me.“ “Oh“ said Issac regaining his composer, he consciously reached his hand out and tipped his hat with his other hand. 

The man in Black smiled and shook his hand. “Whats his name?“ asked Arke. “ He doesn't talk much, I think he is mute.“ said Hugo with a pondering look on his face. 

“ Lets call him Black.“ said Hugo. 

The young man in black seemed to approve. “ Well Black thanks for saving Hugo, we thought we had lost him.“ said Arke. 

“Did you hear the explosion?‘ Said Arke with a glimmer in his eye and a look of pride. “ We did it.“ said Arke with an ear to ear grin. 

“You trouble me, you like explosions much too much.“ said Isaac patting Arke on the the back. The other men laughed and followed suit. 

“ Where did Black go?“ asked Hugo. Black was behind them, crotched down petting a small purring black cat. 

“He looks like you.“ said Isaac to Black. 

“ Seriously where do you get teeth like that I am envious.“ Black just smiled a fanged grin, picking up the cat in his arms as it continued purring quite loudly. It was hard to believe he had just seen him cut a mans arm clean off just 30min earlier. He seemed harmless but Hugo knew better. 

“ Well, were are the cars?“ asked Hugo. Just up ahead said Isaac.

They walked down the road. 

“ I can‘t wait to tell Drina about the fight and that magnificent explosion“ said Arke. 

“ I think she likes your poetry better.“ Issac remarked.

The car was crowded with the new passengers, Black was in the front with his feline friend, with Hugo Driving. Isaac had to sit on Arke‘s lap as they were not expecting any more passengers than they already had. 

“ God damn it you are heavy.“ said Isaac “How do you think I feel?“ 
“ You tell the women about his men and I will kill you all“ snickered Arke. 

“ And on the eve of our great victory, no less“ Arke said shaking his head. 

“ You could have ridden in the truck.“ gasped Isaac.

 Hugo and the men laughed.

They made it back to the warehouse in one piece, but two of them with a little less pride.

They piled out of the car. Aric greeted them at the door and took turns hugging them and shaking their hands. “You did it all of you!“ He clamored. 

“ The others are waiting to see you.“ Aric said. 

“ Were they as successful at their missions?“ Asked Hugo as they walked through the doors. 

“Two chemical plants and with you an arms plant. No casualties.“ 

“Who is this?“ asked Aric. 

Black put his cat down on the floor of the warehouse. He extended his hand to Aric as the cat rubbed against his leg.

"That's Black He doesn't talk, but he is good in a fight. He helped me out in the woods around the plant. I'll vouch for him. 

Aric took Blacks hand. "He looks young." Said Aric 

"Don't let that fool you, I saw him take a mans arm clean off." Said Hugo. 

“You are welcome here. Ada will get you some clean cloths, and we will make sure that they are black.“ Aric said to Black patting him on the back.

Black nodded. With his usual grining toothy smile.

Drina greeted Arke at the door and hugged him.

Maday was opening a bottle of wine at the table. "About time, we have been waiting for you."

Ada eyed the newcomer with amazement "Well you are quite Handsome, but what happened to you?" Asked Ada 

"He doesn't  Speak."said Arke arm and arm with Drina, a bottle of wine in his hand.

"Maybe he doesn't have anything to say yet." Said Ada

She took Black by the hand and led him toward the back rooms. "We need to get you cleaned up" Ada said in a motherly tone. Isaac handed him a bottle of wine on the way in.

"Well those two are getting along." said Anke as the men gathered around the table. "Well they are just about the same Age." smiled Isaac.

One man named David dropped a set of trophies on the table, a Luger and an SS dagger. "He didn't put up much of a fight" David gleamed. "SS Schwein" snickered Hugo. David explained how his father had a woodworking shop and a man like this had taken it all and in the end killed him with such a weapon. David was happy to return the favor to at least one SS swine. 

"Look" he said. Pulling out the dagger from the sheath, it was sodden with blood. "I killed him with his own dagger, the tip broke."

"I need one just like it." said Hugo. Aric and all the men agreed.

They All drank for hours emptying bottle after bottle of wine and talking about the night's events.

Drina sang a song in Roma, no one could understand the words but it moved them all. Hugo was especially moved, as it reminded him of how Rose used to sing in the camp.

Arke was red faced when Drina took him to bed. "I'm telling you Drina without you I would be nothing." said Arke. as they stumbled into the back rooms. 

"Ada!" Yelled Drina 

"Oh god we fell asleep." said Ada in slurred voice. 

"On our bed?!" said Drina 

"My room was too far." answered Ada getting dressed. Drina covered Arke's eyes. Black looked embarrassed 

"Wow, The boy doesn't take long." laughed Arke 

Arke stumbed over to Black who had just put his pants on as he rose from the bed, he gave him a handshake and then proceeded to pass out in the empty spot. Cradling the empty bottle like a baby. 

The remaining men at the table bellowed with laughter.
