ALLIED SUPERMAN CHAP 3

[The “Hammer”]

A guard in the camp nicknamed the “Hammer” because he would beat prisoners to death in the camp at random. Was raping women at random in the camp. He had foolishly targeted Rose, but she had gotten away her virtue intact and untouched. Hugo was enraged. His tunnel men urged him not to act for the tunnel was almost finished, but Hugo would not let this pass. The men agreed reluctantly. They all loved Rose who would sing them songs in Yiddish and Deutsche. She would make them smile simply by being sweet. This had angered them all.

By the moonlight they had caught the “Hammer” in the latrine outhouse, his pants around his ankles.

The men rushed him and before he had time to scream out had shoved a soiled rag down the “Hammers” throat with gloves on. They knocked him out with multiple blows from the men, and in an empty dimly lit shack they took turn beating him for Roses honor.

Then Hugo Stanz came out with a ball peen hammer from the workshop.

Hugo wanted to give him the blood eagle but there was no time. So instead Hugo crushed his testicles with the ball peen hammer in one sharp blow. The man tried to scream with the shit covered rage down his throat. The “Hammer” passed out from the pain. But Hugo slapped him awake. “Schwein“ (swine in Deutsche) Hugo wispered in the mans ear. The men each produced Ball peen hammers that they would have to wash off and put back into the slave workshop afterwards. They took turns and crushed his bones to pulp.

The blood soaked “Hammer” was returned to the latrine outhouse still breathing. Right down the shithole. They poured sand down the hole as was often done and buried him in shit, still alive but mute.

They would not look for him long as men in his post often deserted in lou of the grizzy work at hand.

The other guards didn‘t even like him.

Rose offered herself to Hugo that night, but he refused. They fell asleep in each others arms.
